Commissioned portraits and original artwork are available for institutions and private collections.

About the Selection Process

Giselle enjoys creating portraits and other works of art, but she focuses exclusively on ideas, themes, and subjects that genuinely move her or align with her artistic vision.

To preserve her artistic focus and the integrity of her work, Giselle accepts commissions on a highly selective basis. Because her availability is limited, she considers only inquiries that inspire a meaningful creative connection.

Prospective clients are asked to complete an application describing themselves, the intended subject, and the concept behind the proposed work.

All commission inquiries are reviewed, but only a small number of projects, if any, are accepted each year. Applicants whose projects are selected will receive a complete price list and detailed instructions for proceeding with the commission.

Important Information

Pricing begins at $5,000.

Available sizes may vary according to Giselle’s schedule, artistic preference, and the requirements of the proposed work.

Smaller works may require approximately one month to complete, while larger or more complex pieces may take a year or longer. Because Giselle accepts only a very limited number of commissioned works, a single project may occupy her schedule for an extended period.

Collectors interested in commissioning a work are encouraged to submit their inquiries well in advance.

Commission inquiries are reviewed; however, only a small number of works, if any, are undertaken annually. If accepted, the approved candidate will be notified directly by an authorized representative of ESSENCE AND LEGACY LLC, which handles the sales of Giselle’s commissioned artwork.
