Reaching Beyond Oneself

Pink Blooms is Giselle’s first watercolor piece. She loves the soft, delicate curves of the flowers, and the gentle movement they make as they stretch outward, as if trying to reach beyond their own boundaries. To Giselle, they appear to be grasping for something greater, just beyond their reach; and they know if they stay strong and continue to grow, they will touch the light they are heading towards. This reflects Giselle’s own perspective; she loves learning and growing not only as an artist, but as a person. Self-reflection is a part of who she is, and she continually reaches beyond herself.
