My intention for this piece was to represent resilience, strength, and the hope of a new beginning. For me, there’s beauty in strength. Beauty can be found within ourselves, and in those who are strong for us when we are lost in the dark. The rose emerging from the darkness, into the light of a new day represents a new beginning with a newfound strength.
